I was really excited about ordering one of these new line notebooks, but when I got to the checkout, I was disgruntled to see a 25% GST fee of 321,03 € (or 461 CAD for me). That seems like a VERY high sales tax, and in my experience this tax is usually NOT applicable outside the country of origin. Is this normal, or is something messed up with my order? I'm ordering through the international Zepto page.
On second look, does Zepto even ship to Canada? Or am I going to lost out on this great notebook...![]()

Yikes!!! I don't think HST is that high!!!, In Alberta we pay only 6% GST and 0 PST.
there might be some other international taxes on that unit. call the retailer and ask.
good luck. -
Good news THEFIL. If you live in Canada then we send it to you without Tax, At the moment you have to order from the global website and when we invoice the machine we leave out the TAX. we are getting a lot of interest from specifically the US and Canada so we are going to make a website so customers can complete a tax free transaction for orders outside the EU. Also the 24 month pick up and return means that Zepto pay the courier charges and repair the machine for you within that time period. 3 years can be purchased for a small extra cost

). Why can't the oil field come through BC
. Also the custom will be charging a $5 handling fee by the custom office.

ZUK,
If you're getting interest from the US, maybe your international site could give prices in dollars in addition to Euros for convinience.
There's another issue with the international site with 6224. Once again, the prices are listed as starting at 837Euro and 934Euro for the two models, when you try to configure them they default to the price almost 100 Euros more, even though they are configured just as they are described on the front page. As a matter of fact, I couldn't even figure out how to get them to the From price and still keeping the correct specs. You either need to change the From prices or figure out what's adding the extra cost. I suspect it might be the inclusion of the 24 month service but I'm not sure. -
We will be making a US site very soon as we are having a lot of interest from America and Canada. It is the service which adds the price, I understand this is a bit confusing but our system calculates a price for the warranty. As a company we have to put money aside that is used for customer repairs and courier charges etc. When I tried to change this is went haywire!!
6224w... 25% Gst?
