ok, i have had a 6324 for a while now, but never played anything more demanding than Rome total war.
i just bourght Neverwinter nights 2, and Two Worlds
but when i tried playing them, and after around 10 mins the laptop just turned off
the games didnt have any lack of performance before it turned off
i tried installing the latest drivers, but it still happened again

    any suggestions?

Is it overheating? It's the #1 reason laptops shutdowns during gaming in my experience.

    dont know about overheating
    it gets a little hot,
but i dont think its excessivly

how can i keep it cooler??
i put in on a metal surface with lots of hole in it to maxmimise airflow, but still didnt work

i havent changed anything else to try and cool it down

but surely the laptop was designed to play these games so sohuldnt overheat?

Look in taskmanager for the temp (leave it running under the game) and game for a few minutes (so that it doesnt shut down) and see what the CPU temp is then you game. If it goes over 90C you have a problem.

With a can of compressed air, blow out the vents in your machine. You can open the machine and do a more thorough job, but if cleaning the vents helps, you know you're on the right track. This may also be all you need to do. Good luck.

ok first off the temp before gaming was 79-80
then i tried the game for a few mins and it went to 89.9
then used the air to get out the vents
    game went to 88.5

should it be this high?? and able to play at this temp?

    all temps in celsius
yeah idle 79/80 (running internt exploer)
    gaming goes up to 89ish
the fan works i think, can hear it and feel a bit of air blown out

used rm clock to measure temp, as its the only way i could find to do it

how can i solve this heat problem?

If your idle temp is 80C then you have a serious problem! I would suggest you contact Zepto asap and discuss it with them.

What does RMClock show as the CPU speed and voltage when the computer is on idle and the temperature is ~80C?

just running rmclock, firefox, and itunes

    core temp - 77.6
core clock - 1200 Mhz (throttle the same)
    cpu load - around 30%
    os load - 15-20 %
    voltage - 0.93-0.98 v
    multiplyer - 6-10x

thats all the info on that it gives i think
