Is the amd xp-m 3000+ in the 6240 replacable with any other processor? Just a curious idle thought.

It could be depending on whether it is a socket A or socket 754 processor. More info is needed. From the specifications listed on averatec's website the 6240's most probably can be upgraded to a socket 754 clawhammer mobile Athlon64.
