I'm not sure if there already are threads with this problem, but the search function isn't working properly.
My problem relates a bit with NinaMaya's.
I was using my laptop yesterday and the keyboard wasn’t working properly. Therefore I thought that I’ll just reboot it. But when I started it again it just doesn’t work.
The problem is that I can hear the fan work, there is power through but the screen is black and I can only hear the fans work. It just doesn’t start.
I have tried to take the batteries out for a while and then try again, but it is still the same.
Another odd thing is, that when I try to turn the computer on without the power supply and when it is open, it doesn’t turn on but when I close it the laptop suddenly turn on and is on the state that I described before.
I think maybe there is a problem with the BIOS but I am not sure, does anybody have a clue of what to do?
Thanks.

Im no expert at this stuff,, from what I understand you cant boot into windows at all
You could try changing BIOS settings to the factory defaults ( I think you hit F9 once in BIOS then F10 to save and exit) -

Sounds like you have defective RAM. Contact the Zepto support department for your country.

RAM can suddenly die.
It's easily accessible under a cover on the bottom. Normally there are two modules. Remove one and try to boot the computer. If that doesn't work, swap them over and try with the other module.
And, if the computer boots, try putting the remaining module back in. Sometimes they aren't seating properly and then behave like dead.
**** Note: You should disconnect the power, remove the battery and earth yourself before touching the modules. ****

^I've just tried with the RAMs but no change, I can just hear the fan and the ligts are on the laptop. The wierd thing is that the keyboard doesn't reply when I press Caps- or Num Lock. A light on the laptop chould switch on...

try removing both ram modules and start the PC
if you get a "beep"-signal the problem occurs after memorycheck so i can't be the processor or mainboard (which, as far as i know, are checked before) -
What does that mean? -

Then it sounds more likely to be a motherboard problem than a RAM issue. As advised earlier please contact the Zepto Support in your country.

I'll contact them on monday.

I had the same problem some time ago, was told it was an issue with a bios or gfx driver version, don't remember which though
I updated my bios and driver and the problem was gone. however, my problem wasn't consistent, it would happen once in a while. -
