Hi I'm new here and I've run into some problems with my zepto 6324w.

I have the graphics card geforce 8600m GT 512mb and this card seems to have a lot of problems :( im not sure, but it does get very hot during gameplay. also sometimes when playing a game on windows xp 32bit with the newest drivers off of nvidias website it just shuts down randomly, maybe also worth to mention is that a crt is connected to the laptop constantly.

I have been looking for new drivers and found laptop2go but im really clueless here. I really don't know a lot about computers and such and would really be grateful if someone could pinpoint me to a good driver for my znote :)

You are fortunate that your GPU has kept running this long. The Nvidia GPU has a latent defect. Read this thread for a method for temporarily fixing it.

Hi John, thanks for the reply.

My graphics card still works. I can for
example still run starcraft 2 at good/high settings. The PC do get hot, but i just keep it midair and it works fine. You can even play mafia 2 on it.
Im hoping I wont need to follow that guide, i know i would screw it up.

Do you happen to know any good drivers for my znote?

    appreciate your answer

    /kahn

Yes John, but I've heard that drivers from laptop2go is supposed to boost the fps in games and be a whole lot better than the official Nvidia drivers. But I'm not sure. Do you know more about this?

I don't have first hand knowledge of this. However, tweaked drivers which provide better performance are also more likely to trip up.
