I've had my Znote 6615WD notebook for about a month, and am having trouble with it.

Sometimes while using the notebook, the webcam turns on, and some buttons are pressed without me doing anything. For example, while typing a word document the webcam might turn on, then thirty seconds later a 3 appears in the document, then it's fine for a few minutes, then the webcam turns on again, etc. I suspect it's caused by overheating, but I'm following all the advice in the user guide about keeping it cool, and not straining it more than by running a 3D game.

I've installed Speedfan and Notebook Hardware Control to monitor the temperature. CPU temp sometimes gets up to about 83 while running a game (and that's when the problems most often occur) - does that suggest there's a problem with cooling, or is that normal for a core 2 duo?

I've also run memtest86, and not found any problems with the memory.

Has anyone else had any problems similar to this, or have any advice about what I can do? I've tried emailing both UK ([email protected]) and central customer support ([email protected]) with no reply from either for 2 weeks. I've heard bad things about Zepto customer support, but no reply at all is pretty disappointing.

    Help!

Well 83c while gaming is a tad bit high, but not near the maximum threshold, so I dont think that may be the problem.
