My problem is still freezing and BSOD:s when I try to play games on it.

And yes It's been in to service and No they couldnt find anything wrong. (Except I still got freezing screens and BSOD :( )

Were you having problems with the original BIOS version?

    Nope,

Ive updated all the way to 1.09 without any problem.

Ive installed Vista already and now when I try to update to 1.10 I get the following error message when trying to flash:

"Platform signature not found in the interface"

    Anyone got a clue?

My guess is that there is some sort of compatibility issue with Vista and the new BIOS. Perhaps Vista profiles your system in a different way than XP does--and thus is not recognized by the new BIOS.

    Might be that.

Lets hope someone from Zepto read this and fixes the problem.

I had the same problem, and according to my bios i've got 1.09... I was told by their tech support to install 1.09v (even though I supposedly have it), and then install 1.10...

Also, if you've got the Sony Slot-in drive, the problems will not be fixed by this bios patch... Sony is claiming that it's zepto's problem, while zepto think that the problem is due to Sonys firmware... I was offered to have my slot-in exchanged to a non slot-in from samsung which have not had any troubles under vista, or wait for Samsung so come with a slot-in and get my sony slot-in switched to the samsung version instead (free of charge)...

CarolusX, any luck with the bios upgrade so far?... I have the same problem and was wondering if you had a solution yet.

    Onyxd.

    Nope haven't solved it yet.

And poulrh. I did the same thing. Installed 1.09v and then tried 1.10. No luck there and i dont have the Sony slot-in drive.

I've talked to Zepto a couple of month ago and they said that there was some peoples that had this problem and that it might be corrected in the next bios update. So i regulary check the ftp site to see if it has been released but its still 1.10.
