So any suggestions?

If it changes color, it might be a stuck pixel. Try massaging the area with a stylus.
-
It stays green without any changes at least i cant notice it.
Stylus?
Also it can be seen only in black background and dark backgrounds also..

We can take the laptop in and exchange the LCD panel on the machine as long as the machine is within the first 14 days of purchase. After that we follow the ISO standard about pixel errors on the different sizes of panels. On a 15" monitor there has to be a minimum of 5 pixel errors before we exchange it when the machine is over 14 days old.

17 - 01 i'm leaving for Greece and coming back at 10-02 but really to use the laptop...
And it can be handled by the support center in Sweden or i have to send it to Denmark?
thx,

Yeah saw that not working i will give a try later.
But it would be nice if zepto can replace my LCD monitor.
Cause i've only used the laptop for some hours..

mamep, we do not have a support centre in Sweden. All the swedish repair cases are handled in Denmark.
-
OK with that..
I have two questions.
- If 1 dead/stucked pixel is covered by he warranty?
- If is possible to send me the laptop back to me in Greece?
mamep -
1, yes if it is reported within the 14 first days
2, Its possible to send it to greece, but if the computer is bought in sweden we can only cover the shippment back and forth from/to sweden.
Suggestion would be to call support and work something out. -
Hmm yeah but i'm leaving 17/01 to Greece and i think that it's possible to get it back until 17th..
So i will give a call to zepto on monday. -
17/01, you have 5 days to that!
-
It's weekend.
I'm flying 17th morning 06 o 'clock so it's 3 days typically. -

3 days will need to be a fast turnaround with overnight courier service.
The alternative may be, now that the problem is identified and recorded, that the work waits until you get back.

This is the best solution for me..
I will call zepto international tomorrow.
Thx for your help guys. -
I actually have a dead pixel on my 3415w, but I never notice it nowadays. I was too lazy to send it back after noticing it! You learn to live with it.
-
If you know that is there you can't take your eyes..

I agree that green on a black background can be annoying. I think this counts as stuck pixel (ie stuck on green) rather than dead, which would be black and less obtrusive. I had a dead one on another notebook and it took me a month before I noticed it - what I thought was a speck of dust refused to clean off!
John -
It's a little bit annoying to pay about 1k for a notebook and get a stucked/dead pixel..
-
Its nothing to be angry over, especially not on zepto. Faults in LCDs are quite common after all, and be angry at the persons who do them, not the NB company
