Whilst in Australia in December my 6625wd experienced a problem where at boot one of 3 scenarios would occur.
    1. Solid white screen
    2. vertical bands of black and either green, red or blue
    3. Solarized type of 16bit display
Whichever happened of 2 or 3 would progress into 1 within minutes.
Zepto Australia would fix but as they said it needed new mobo as well as GFX (due to GFX being soldered to mobo) which they did not have I would have to pay transport from Denmark plus charges to United Electrical who handle Zepto repairs there.
I waited until my return to Europe and yesterday after 3 weeks I received my 6625 back in exactly the same condition.
Enclosed letter states a GFX -1 AND A GFX +1 along with a paid for upgrade to a Penryn 2.5 no mention of a new mobo.
My software diagnosis program can find the only change to system being the CPU change and MS update worked fine no reactivation issues I would expect if new CPU, GFX and mobo.
I am able to run the 6625 on external monitor for about 30 minutes a time before deterioration of picture.

Did I get my own GFX back? Was it changed?

Tomorrow it returns to Denmark again. :(
