What is the difference between the samsung combo 6xx4w/6xx5wd/2xx5w and the SAMSUNG DVD-RW DL offered in the 6625WD. Do both read/write to CD as well?

The Combo drive reads CDs and DVDs but writes only CDs. The DVD-RW DL reads CDs and DVDs and writes CDs, DVDs and double layer DVDs.

So simply said the combo drive is not a dvd burner but only burns cds.

I would pay that little extra to be able to burn DVDs.
