I've taken apart my 6625WD since the warranty's expired, and reapplied the thermal compound, now I idle around 55degrees for both cpu and 60 degrees (I've turned off powermizer) for my GPU.
However, during gaming my gpu temperature would go up to 90 degrees (according to HWMonitor) and it would clock down to 169MHz core/100MHz for memory.
Only a reboot can raise the gpu back up to it's full working speed.
Conspiracy theories of Nvidia aside, here's how I've managed to force the GPU to stay at 100% working frequency.
1. Install rivatuner
2. Click on Power User tab as shown in the screenshot

3. Browse to Riva Tuner\Nvidia\Overclocking as shown above, and modify the EnablePerfLevelForcing to 1.
4. Go back to the Main tab, and click on the icon shown in the screenshot

5. Making sure "Force constant performance level" is set to Performance 3D and overclock a little if you wish to do so.

NB: Reboot whenever it wants you to.
That is all, afterwards it should stay at peak performance no matter how much abuse you throw at it.
This modification may result in your laptop overheating thus shortening the life of your laptop. Just bear that in mind, however now that my game runs smooth as it should, so I won't be complaining.
