Is it possible to start/boot using an external monitor?

I can only seem to get my pc on the internal monitor and then press Fn-F4 to switch to an external monitor. Is there any way to avoid this and just start on the external monitor whenever I boot the pc?

    Thanks,
    Klemme

I've had the same problem. It seems that occasionally if I shutdown with
the external monitor already being my primary (not using the laptop monitor)
it will about 50% of the time boot up being still my primary. I'm not sure
    why this is.

I know that when I hybernate it always come out being correct, if that helps.

We've contacted Nvidia and the VBIOS for the GeForce 8xxx GPU does not support Multimonitor during POST, this is why you can't get it to work.

OK, thanks René, then I must use the Fn-F4 combo.

Did they say anything about supporting it in the future or is it a hardware thing?

We got a "No expected future support" answer from Nvidia.

Damn, Zeptos customer service seems just unbelievable. I wouldn't even dare to expect something like this from anywhere else.
