    Is there a 9 cell Battery planned for this laptop, does anyone know?

    This thread says that a 12 cell battery is expected in September. Apparently, the battery protection circuit had to be re-engineered so that the potential high current drain in use under full load didn't trigger a fault condition. 9 cell is not an option.
