hi all, my dad uses a 7115 and has started to complain about the hinge assembly [LCD] becoming stiff, almost seizing in place. a quick search for repair revealed horror stories back in '08, but didn't know who to address this problem to? on the trigem site they mention fremontek- anyone with experience with them?

I've had mixed experience with Fremontek (most parts great, LCD screens not so great), but I'm not sure you can get a hinge anywhere else. I believe they do sell them for the 7100 series, and since my non-LCD acquisitions have turned out well, I don't see why you shouldn't give them a try.
