I was wondering where I can get new drivers for my HGL30. They have forceware 83.90 which are pretty old. When I try to install the newer 90 series drivers it says it can't find the video card compatible or something. Links?

The downloadable drivers from Nvidia's web site do not support their mobile GPUs. But there is a solution. Check here.

I got a lot of bluescreens In Source games that resulted in me having to do a chkdsk /r /p in recovery console to get windows to boot again when using drivers other than the ones on powernotebooks.com

I've had great luck using these drivers: XTreme-G MobileForce XP 94.20

I didn't have to mess with any files, just install and go.

Nvidia's newest official 7xxx series drivers from their website - 94.24 work fine with Go 7600, using them myself.

has anyone had any resolution in game issues after updating your drivers. I think the maximum resolution i can rn in most games is 1152 by 864. CS:S and other Steam apps run at 1200x800. but as for the rest im stuck with a low res. any ideas?

Is there anyone running Vista on their HEL80 that has updated drivers?

I think I still have the stock ones and would like to experiment a little with newer ones.

How do I check what version I have (in Vista) and what are some recommended drivers (also for Vista)?

    Thanks.

I know if I don't use the stock drivers Battlefield 2142 wont load, which requires deleting the profile folder so it creates a new one, then you have different resolutions then before. The new resolutions are only a couple dozen pixels off though, which doesn't change the look.
