Ok, we all know the 7600 on the Compal's are "underclocked". However, isnt it true that the 7600's on the Compal's are just the non GT version, which only uses 8 pixel pipelines instead of 12? I have been a member of overclock.net, and there is a pipeline unlocking guideline. Apparently there may be 4 pipelines that can be unlocked using Rivatuner. It says to do at your own risk and that there could potentially be problems, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this.

This has been discussed here before. You will not be able to unlock the additional 4 pipelines.

There is a major difference between a soft lock, which will work with Rivatuner and an actual hardware ie resistor, lock, which is the case with the 7600GO, the only 12 pipe nvidia card is the 7700 which if by some miracle maybe someday might be able to be retrofitted into the hel80.
