I was looking on the Zepto.UK site and was playing around with configurator trying to build a suitible notebook for myself.

First off, Does the Laptop come with a charger? Or do you need to buy one of ones there?
-If you buy a OS does it come installed or just the discs?

Finally can anyone suggest a good ''build'' for around £580-620 suitible for playing games here and there such as BF2,Company of heroes, WoW etc.

    Thanks alot

Yes, it comes with the charger. I didn't buy an OS so I wouldn't know about that.

I am not certain if shipping is involved, you may have to add shipping costs.

Shipping costs are added to the VAT price during the ordering process, the system will show you the final price before confirming.

I would avoid integrated graphics if I was to game.

A 6214W with T5600, 1GB 667Mhz RAM, 80GB 5400 rpm HDD, GeForce Go 7600, and Vista Business seems to come atop 730£. For more suggestions, try the "What notebook I should buy" forum.

That seems to be a decent build for gaming. RAM is easily upgraded to 2 GB's later, and dropping Vista off would decrease the cost even more.

Though i'd take a 7200 rpm hard drive, i have it in my laptop and i can't tell how i've managed to live without it before :D

Yeah, it just blows off from the 580-620£ fork very fast.

It doesn't seem that great value anymore. They make you purchase a warranty plan which previously was included for free in the final price.

When you add the fact that they do not include an OS in the default specification, the price looks even worse.

I don't know if this is typical of all laptop vendors, but shipping isn't the only thing added just before check out. Shipping (according to the UK site and shipping to the UK) costs £35 there is also a credit card charge of £17 added (or maybe it was £27, my memory has let me down).

A couple of weeks ago the spec of 6615 I wanted cost £744 including shipping, credit card charge but before VAT. Now the same spec costs £826, that not so attractive. Especially when a Rock Pegasus costs between £800-900 for a pretty similar spec but with an extra year warrenty and a bag...
