    1. On that config you haven't selected an operating system so no it definately won't as there's nothing to restore. Not sure if you order it with windows as I ordered without aswell. Just came with drivers CD.

    2.No student discounts unfortunately :(

    Yes, I ordered with XP Pro installed and and it came with discs, a driver disc as mentioned, and an OS back up disc.

    Hi,

    I just ordered my Laptop and they said I had to phone up to my make payment. Is this normal?

    I phoned up and it went to answer machine, I guess because its the weekend so now I have to wait till monday to pay?!

    Yeah its really behind the times!

    This is the only thing I'm worried about atm, customer relations. I emailed them with some questions about the laptop I wanted 4 days ago and have had no reply. I decided to buy the laptop anyway but it doesn't fill me with confidence.

    Now some weird phone up to pay system, and there isn't even anyone there at the weekend! I will live with it as long as they don't delay delivery until I have paid. :hmm
