3gb or 4gb in 32 bit vista.. mem in same size and in pair work in sync un even work in async so.. if i use 32bit vista it can only alocate 3gb but i can't run 3gb in sync so do i get better mem performance if i should get 4gb and they run in sync or perhaps they don't run in sync as 32bit vista only alocates 3gb... simpley what gives bets performance in 32bit vista and is the diff that big that it is worth to go for 4gb?

I think the difference isn't much as per discussion from experts-exchange.

The difference in memory bandwidth between 3GB and 4GB is very small, particularly with the recent Intel chipsets. See the dual channel RAM guide.
If you are thinking of buying RAM then look out for the few modules which offer CL=4 @ 667MHz. There are some around now.

You won't notice the difference. I tried it. Then the second 2GB module went into my Sony G11 which welcomed the boost from 1GB to 2GB.

No, the difference between 3gb and 4gb is really quite small. Most people probably wouldn't even notice.
A memory question
