    Hey guys, is it ok to use AS5 onto the northbridge in which is cooled with the same cooler as the cpu??

    i would not recc it. the pad they use is very thick. you would have to make sure that the nb part of the heatsink actually touches the die. if there is any gap as5 is not made for that. as5 is made to be applied very thin..

    Well good news, I got ahold of the thermal pads from OCZ and will be in tomorrow so all will be well then.
