Does anyone have any experience with ABS machines? I'm surprised there is not one reference to them in this forum. Looking at their website www.buyabs.com they seem to offer a lot of value for the cost, but I've heard nothing on their peformance, reliability, or support.

I was contemplating on getting the Mayhem G3 before I decided on the Acer 8104. You will not get very good battery life out of the Mayhem, and it is slightly bulkier. Plus its graphics card is a bit out-dated. However for the price you do get quite a lot thou.

ABS is good IMO, that G3 uses the same Uniwill barebone as a lot of other laptops on the market, I've heard good things about it. Personally I think the m11 graphics card in those are a bit anemic, but its nothing worse than the majority that's on the market. Definitely a good value thou.

    cheers,

    yass
