From what I have heard there isn't a dc adapter that can power this beast, it draws too much current to power. People have been using (again from what I have read, no personal experience here , yet!) a universal dc adapter. I wonder, however, it it would supply enough juice to just "charge" the battery?

    Anyone?

The output voltage is 20v, 6a and the input is 100-240vac 2a.

There is no car adaptor available, but I've tried the 6130hs with a 200w power inverter, even without a battery, the power inveter couldn't handle the current draw for more than 10 seconds.

It would work with more than 200w, canadian tire sells 400w and more.
