Please, don't bring this topic up again. It has been confirmed by numerous sources, including OCZ. Short answer, YES.

OK, but HOW is it possible? Look into the link and images. The connection format of HD 4000 is very different from the format of HD 3870 and slots in OCZ Whitebook.

The correct cards will be available in this chassis, you age looking at a generic picture. They are currently being tested and confirmed working in this model. The 4870 are supposed to be available sometime in Q2 (end of march, maybe later)

This is like the hottest WB topic right now, geez. All you could have done was to search or even scroll down a bit.

Not that it matters or anything, but:

The one on the left will fit. The production model probably won't be red though.

Boutique notebook manufacturers, almost always get a custom PCB that is compatible with their model, as long as it adheres to the operating standards. No worries, everybody will get their version of the 4850/4870.

Average dual 3870 scores for OCZ are ~12k 3dmark06

What will these new 4000 series cards score?

I think another three thousand is a good assumtion. If they would sort out the drivers for the cards that are already in this rig, I'm sure it would be a monster performer.

imo if they had better drivers even now the 3870's could perform even better than they are already.. the 9.1's are a immature driver imo. i am seeing issues with them and i suggest running the 8.12's or the 8.10's.
