Averatec makes a nice machine for the price. I'd consider stepping up to the 6130 though. For gaming the 64MB RAM might be a little light, but it depends on what you're hoping to accomplish.

The 6130HS (Sam's Club) has the 64 MB dedicated memory and the 5400 series (Walmart) has the shared memory. I am also trying to decide between these two computers and I added an extra 512MB to the 5428HX and dedicated full 64 MB to video and man, it flies!
The kicker is the 5428HX has a 8X +/- DVD burner because I burnt a DVD at 8X speed. The same DVD was recognized as 4X in the 6130HS.
The 5428 stays absolutely cool hour after hour on the lap while the 6130HS gets pretty hot.

Sorry, what I should have said was "allocated" instead of "dedicated" memory. I went in the Bios setup and changed the 16MB to 64 MB.
