    Unfortunately microexpress seems to have stopped offering their jhl90 for barebones buys. Xoticpc seems to have it, but their price is somewhat steeper.

    I really need a barebones socket p notebook. Anyone think of any other sites/models/even brands I should look at?

    Here's what I did when I was looking at barebones notebooks...

    1) I went to Avadirect to see a good list of the models available

    2) Copy and pasted the manufacturing part on froogle.com, lets say the JFL92S+ (I recommend this model if you dont get the JHL90 :) )

    I sorted the prices from low to high, so I got the cheapest one available.

    3) Optional: Since it's a pretty big purchase...you could consider some cashback programs to get a % back...
