Because of the bad quality I've uploaded it here in QVGA-quality: http://rapidshare.com/files/40869127/Zepto_Znote_6224W.mpg.html

I have also an XL-version of this movie!
Because it was too big for YouTube I've splitted
it with Winrar in 4 parts of 50MB and put it on Rapidshare:

    Part 1: www.tinyurl.com/2wjqyq
    Part 2: www.tinyurl.com/3dhbdh
    Part 3: www.tinyurl.com/3d2owx
    Part 4: www.tinyurl.com/2wr2pz

It lasts 2 minutes longer and has more ingame-shots and it's on VGA-quality!!

I've also made a whole bunch of topics for several Zepto notebooks:
This is the newest and it's about the Zepto Znote 6224W/ 6324W and the 6625WD!

    You can find it here!
In part 1 there were more than 1000 posts and at the moment there are allready posted 600 messages in part 2! It's a Dutch forum but you can find there many info, movies, pictures and benchmarks! Enjoy it!

    Thank you!

That's why I made all those pictures, video's and benchmarks!!

I knew about the quality of Zepto notebooks, because I've already had a Zepto Znote 6214W! When I ordered that one, I was really excited how it should be, but it's perfectement! So now the 6224W!!

sooooo, if clb's setup is running fine with the 7500 2.2ghz, does this mean there is no problem with the bios after all  ?
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=131840 for details on the bios problem
edit: congrats by the way! and props for the good work and on being the first to provide the forum with some first-hand benches!

I appreciate your work very much!
However if you are planning to do some more of that kind (or someone else for that matter)
I would have loved some video footage without the music, but with the sounds of using the machine... keyboard etc
    but thanks! :D

    Hello,

Good job CLB! Did you run the 3dmark 06 benchmark on the laptop LCD with 1280x800 or did you use an external screen at 1280x1024?

    thanks!

    ;)

I Love to make pictures of this sweety! If I want to buy a Zepto notebook I want to see as much photo's and video's as I can, so that's why I took them :)

That's true! Here in the Netherlands we were also speaking about the bios problems with the T7500 and the T7700 processor, but nobody has problems with it (there are some others with a T7500 / T7700 processor) so why the options of the T7500 and the T7700 aren't on the Global Zepto site (and the German and Danish site) is very strange imho! On www.zepto.nl (The Dutch site) you can still order it!!! Why? I don't know, but it don't matter to me! I have a T7500 :p
Thank you, want some more benches!? Ask me!!

Thank you, nice to hear that!
That's a little bit of a problem, because my digital camera has no sound option :(
    Your Welcome

It was on a resolution of 1280x800! I will put that in my first post!

Does no one read the forums?

    Zepto explained or Wave....

The bios as shipped from China to Zepto will not support the 2.2 & 2.4 CPU
So Zepto had to put in a 2.0 CPU build the machine, then update the BOIS,
then shut down the laptop, disassemble the laptop, remove CPU-1 & replace with CPU-2 (2.2 or 2.4) , now rebuild.

This long process is cost inefficient so Zepto removed the option for now !Q!

ONCE UPDATED there is no CPU issue with the bios, as it stands the BIOS on all models till upgraded will only support CPU's to 2.0Ghz T7300

The driver version changes the resolution from 800 to 854? strange stuff! do you have an external monitor maybe so you could benchmark at the default? 3dMark06 default is 1280x1024.

How do you find your sleeve fits the 6224W? Mine seems a bit tight and even taking care to get some fabric over the corners I still seem to end up with the metal teeth of the zip wrapped around the corners of the laptop. Doesn't seem good as an impact I'm sure would take a chunk out of it.

On the plus side I have to say I really like the keyboard on this machine :)

I use the tweaked drivers from laptopvideo2go.com

No problems with that, fits perfectly! Just as the sleeve and my 14,1" Zepto Znote 6214W that I had before... The zip is working fine and I have no probs!

Keyboard is working here fine also ;)

Have you tried running a dx9 vs dx10 version of a game,
    and then compare fps?
Rumors say that performance should decrease drastically.

Noopz I wanted to try a DX10 (and DX9) demo of Lost Planet, but when I
started the DX10 version I've got an error 'blabla missing .dll file' so I can't play the DX10 version! I'm gonna update my drivers this afternoon so be patient!

thanks for the benches, sry to hijack your thread a bit with this question. but what is an acceptable framerate these days? I figure you would want more in fast paced action and racing games than you need for rts. But if I remember right I didnt want fps below 30 for the games I used to play. Was mostly first person shooters though.

I'm usually happy with 25-30 fps, minimum. I think the general recommended number is somewhere around that.

CLB, do you really have to post your You tube score in almost every thread about the 6224?
Not necessarily something to be proud off...
It might me be something you get off on but it's utterly meaningless for all the other NBR readers.
