I am wondering if any new info is available on the new core duo notebooks from Quanta is available. I was going to get a Quanta KN1, but do not want to spend good money on a discontinued model the next carnation should be a significant step forward in technology.
    Thanks in advance,
    Mikeylee

Well, the most that I've found thus far is this thread. The new Quantas probably won't be released for a little while.

A good place to get some info is to ask around on the Powernotebooks forum; I'm sure that as a reseller, Donald knows a lot more about when they're going to get stuff than any of us do, and I'm sure he'll get back to you quickly.

    Flanken,

Thanks! I searched but did not find that thread (go figure since Quanta is in the thread name...DUH!) Not quite as nice looking as the KN!, but looks are pretty irrevelant.

Ron at Powernotebooks.com told me they expect them in June, but they had no details. I was hoping, hoping, hoping for more details.
