Tis my Old Laptop.
About a year ago i had planned on upgrading the RAM in my laptop and about an hour before the RAM was delivered the motherboard in my laptop blew. I Removed the processor and Hardrive and they now take pride of place in my dad's desktop PC. However i have a 1GB stick of laptop DDR RAM, a 256mb stick of laptop RAM remaining and the rest of the laptop works any suggestions on what to do with it?
Should i re-fit the parts and get a quote to replace the motherboard? (how much approximately would that be?
Should i sell the respective parts separately and sell the chassis, motherboard and screen together?
Regards,
Mad
EDIT: Model was an ADVENT 7060

I'm afraid there is no point trying to fix it. Cheaper and more reasonable to get a new one. Just sell the parts, at least some repayment.
You can try this website for spares, though. http://www.adventspares.co.uk/
Any suggestions for Advent 7060 (< or something)?
