Has anyone here tried System76's notebooks? They seem to give pretty good prices (compared to Dell Canada, probably thanks to exchange rates), and quite a few configurations.
Hardware is tailored to running Ubuntu (and indeed they install Ubuntu out of the box).
I like that options are presented really quickly without a convoluted tabbing / page flipping interface, and that I do not have "options" (without the "No" option!) to install bloatware. Rather, there is no bloatware!

    $1,297 for a nice, 14" notebook (5.5 pounds and 1.45" thick). There's even a reasonably powerful 8600GT and a 2.0 gHz Intel Core 2 Duo packed in there :)
For a few hundred more, I could get a thicker laptop, a ginormous resolution and a 512 MB 8600GT (as opposed to 256 MB), but I think this will work fine. The lids on these computers seem to look a bit ugly, but maybe some more pictures and reviews will change my opinion there.

Of course, while the cases and components are all from elsewhere, System76 is rather small and relatively untested by me...
