I successfully installed the beta version of Windows 7 onto my Averatec 3250 and was very surprised on how responsive it was. However, I knew there would be a issue with drivers as my Ralink wireless card, Synaptics touchpad, and onboard sound is not being detected by the OS. I did download the ralink driver wireless driver and it works fine now.

Anyone else try installing the beta onto their Averatec?

Yes, I have the pre-beta installed (build 6956) and it detected everything on my 3250, even the RaLink wireless, so there were no driver issues at all. I'm using it now to do this reply. In fact I have it setup as a dual boot with XPPro.

It definitely runs much better than Vista, which I also tried on the 3250, but still not as nimble as XPPro.
