    Anyone have any insight into where i can get a new fan or an "upgraded" fan to fit.....?

    It will be easier to find if you can look at the part number or part name on the fan. Many laptops are using the same part, you should look for part name rather than the brand of laptop.

    That must be the gold plated model! I would try Ebay and search Averatec Parts or combinations thereof. I find my best deals there
