Is it normal to get a light static noise on the 2150? I didnt mind it when I thought it was just the speakers, but when I plugged in headphones the static was even louder. Can this be corrected (atleast somewhat) with new sound drivers? Or do I have to just deal with the static?

    Thanks

Why don't you try the drivers and write back if needed. Perhaps a BIOS update will help as well if available.

Yes it is normal on the 2150/2155 models. The static coming from the speakers seems to be pretty common, yet I have yet to experience it yet. But Im not suprised with the the tiny speakers they use in that location. You can check www.averatecforums.com to see if there is a fix, other then my fix if they start doing it...but Ill never know cause I never use them.
