    Averatec 2200 Bios Issue

    Bios posts, press F2 to enter setup, hangs after detecting drives. Tried leaving with battery and ac disconnected for an hour and trying again. Still having problems.

    Anyone know how to clear the cmos on this laptop? I have bios R1.04, anyone know if there is a newer version that can be flashed w/o an operating system?

    Doubt that this have anything to so with your BIOS. Try re-seating the drive or install a new drive and see.
