Anyone else out there have a problem with the 2260EH just up and stop power on?

I decided I was going to sell my notebook. I babied the machine, it never left my desk. I used an external mouse and keyboard so I never really touched it aside from the power button.

Anyways. I created master restore discs. Reinstalled to factory presets. Then I carefully placed everything back in their individual bags and into the original box.

Today I had someone call expressing interest. I went down and brought the machine up so the person could check it out and now it doesn't even power up.

The indicator that shows battery charge is a constant green. It does however show as orange (orange being that the battery is being charged) for a split second then goes green when you first plugin the AC adapter.

I've also tried with the battery out of the machine, using just the AC adapter... nothing.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Try this: Take out the battery and disconecting it from any power source. Pres and hold the power button between 30 seconds and one minute. Replace the battery and connect it to a power source.

    Hope this helps.
