I uninstalled the Phoenix Recovery Software through Windows Uninstall, and it supposedly uninstalled completely, yet still, whenever I boot up, I get that annoying message telling me my trial has expired and I have to click ok to proceed with Windows. How do I get rid of this ?

Contact the Phoenix folks. They have been helpful with others in the past.

Try disabling the Phoenix Recovery Software process from turning on when you boot up through msconfig? Otherwise, I'm not sure. This is with Windows MCE 2005 correct?

How do I contact Phoenix, I went on their website and it just led me in circles to the knowledge base. I can't find any answers.

This is Windows MCE2005 and I did try to go through MSConfig, unless I did something wrong, it still prompts me on boot.

Does anyone else have any suggestions? The message I am getting is: The evaluation period of Recover Pro has expired. To purchase a license, please visit www.phoenix.com for more detail.
I should not have to buy this software to do a restore to factory defaults or to get rid of the message. I have uninstalled the software. Help! There is nowhere on the Phoenix website where you can ask a question or email for help.

I was able to remove it on my 2370. all what I had to do is make a recovery disk (since I never had one) and then restore the computer back to day one. When you first turn it on it will ask you to set up phoenix recovery boot screen, I clicked No and uninstalled whatever came pre-installed with my windows. before that I had the same issue as yours and it is annoying! but now everything is fine.

Notice that this phenoix recovery thing if its there it gives you the ability to press F4 at the boot screen (in case if you have major issues with your windows) I have not tested the recovery CD without this crap installed yet, but I believe you should be able to do so. I hope this helps.
