I was looking at the Averatec 2573 / 2575 in a local Sam's Club today and was noticing that the build quality on this looks to be much different in a better way than past Averatec laptops that I have had such as the 3150, 3250, and 2370. I did end up purchasing it with the Sam's Club 3 year warranty for an additional $79, also I can return it for a full refund within 6 months. Researching this laptop, I know that Averatec does not build its own laptops and have other companies build it for them. Again researching this laptop, I noticed that the Acer Ferarri 1100 looks much better but also looks very similar to the Averatec 2573/2575. Makes me wonder if Acer is the OEM for this laptop. Let me know what you think, here is the specs on the Acer Ferarri 1100. God Bless

Can anyone tell me if the 2573 is any good?

Actually the Averatec 2500 is made by MSI and MSI is a world leader in manufacturing laptops, motherboards, etc. I hope this helps. God Bless
