I've had my averatec for about 9 months now and its always worked perfectly. Today I was using it at my desk and went to do some errands. I came back to find it out of power. I plugged it in and started it up. It cycled through the windows loading screen and then BSODs and restarts.

I only get a glimpse of the BSOD but I believe it says Unmountable Boot Sector.

Anyone experienced this before or is it a case for tech support?

Looks like you'll have to reformat your HD and install Windows from scratch. It's a software issue not a hard ware issue.
Basically it's saying your boot sector is corrupt. Before you do anything drastic check to see if your optical drive(cd/dvd writer) is empty. When a computer boots up it'll use the cd rom drive as the first boot device and if you have a cd in it, and it's blank it'll try and boot from that and if it can't boot from that it'll probable say unmountable boot sector. More than likely your boot sector on drive c: is corrupt and you'll have to reinstall your operating system.
