A question for those of you using the "newer" Averatec models. With the new Toggle Switch addition (found on the 3220 series) for turning Wi-Fi on and off, it seems that after the notebook has been powered down that the Wi-Fi switch needs to be turned back on upon the next power up. Have any other users experienced this and is there perhaps a way to change this setting to keep Wi-Fi always on? I am seeking your expert advice! [ ;)]

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. John. I looked through the Bios as well with no luck. I guess I'll just have to sweat the "extra button push"!

You can avoid that extra sweat, if you download SP2 for windows XP. if you turn off your laptop the same way, it saves the setting, so when you open you computer again, the wireless is set to on. I dunno if it helps you or not, but ya, it works
