I brought a new Averatec yesterday. I can connect to my cable modem with the 10/100 cable (wired) adapter, but I can not get connected using the Wireless.

Has anyone had problems and now have suggestions? I can provide more info if needed. Just let me know.

    Thanks.[ :)]

I know this isn't really helping but I had no problem connecting my 3220H with my NETGEAR wireless router.

Can you be more descriptive about the issue you are having? Can you get connected to the router? Do other devices connect to the router?

i am also using the 3221H1 and missed the 3225 deals. so far, i am still v happy w my purchase[ :D]

    Brian:

I am able to connect to a Netgear router using my Compaq laptop. The router is the 11 mps version, but doesn't the Averatec wireless device work with the b or g version?

I do have the wireless receiver turned on and get a signal; just no connection.

I can give you more info.

    Thanks.

click the wireless icon on the task bar, that will open up the menu for the wireless connection. you should see some info on the signal column, press refresh, that should do the trick. if not, place check mark on "connect anyway even if not authenicate..." something like that. Sill not work, click advance and choose "configure wireless....using windows". sorry cannot be more specific, as my averatec 3220h1 is doing battery calib now,...

I don't know if this will help, but:
I found that my wireless stays ON over reboots, but I can't get connected unless I shut it off and then turn it back on.

I suspect it's due to Windoze not updating it's network connection settings from session to session.
I also find that I can see several other networks, and will sometimes loose connections (even though the signal is there, my IE says "unable to reach server.."). I deleted these and the connection clears up.

I wish Windoze networking worked as well as Mac.
