My laptop equipped with Intel 3.0Ghz HT with FPS 800mhz. If I understand correctly memory should be used for 400mhz - PC3200.
But I have installed 2x256 PC2700. (Why?) What can happened if I replace thew with 2x512 PC3200?
Please explane me if I am wrong.

If you put faster memory in the 6100 the mother board will slow it down to 2700 speeds because that's the fastest type of memory you can put in it. It could be your notebook is freezing is because of defective memory.

But if it same price for PC2700 and PC3200? Will it make any bad with PC3200?
And if I understand correctly for CPU with FPS 800mhz bus frequency is 400. Or not?

No it won't make a difference because the system board will slow the memory down to match the speed of the system board. Ex. my graphics card in my desktop computer is rated at 8X AGP but my board has a max speed of 4X so the system board will lower the speed on my graphics card to match the max speed of the AGP port. The Front Side Bus has a max speed of 800 mhz for the 6130hs. I hope this makes sense to you.
