This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Averatec 6100 will not output on S-video...

    I've tried two different tv sets with s-video inputs, but I get NO picture from the laptop. When I click FN/F4 the laptop screen blanks for 2-3 seconds and a quick flash appears on the tv screen (just a flash...no image), and then the laptop screen comes back.

    Any suggestions?

    Just a suggestion - try using a lower screen resolution and see what happens.
