hi,
I have external hard drive enclosure and it's USB 2.0 and when I hook it up to one of the usb ports it says high speed usb device hooked up to a non high speed usb hub. I have the right driver downloaded for onboard usb. Is someone having the same problem.

Are you certain that the USB port in your notebook is version 2.0?
What model do you have? what model is the enclosure? From the wording of the error message, the port is not version capable. I do know a while back some USB ports were labeled as "USB 2.0 Compatible" meaning they did not operate at the speed of version 2.0 but could talk with and still transfer data, but at only USB 1 speeds.

I have the 6130hs notebook. The enclosure is a usb version 2.0. I managed to get it to work. I bought a USB 2.0 4 port hub it seems to be working. I think the hd enclosure needed more power then the onboard hub was requiring. Like I said it's working now.
