When i boot my 7100 laptop. I get this message.
RS482/M 300/14 TEST BR#15978A And a flashing command prompt that I can do nothing with. I have left it on for hours I have took all power off and tried a reboot and nothing works. Any ideas would be great.

Update : I was told by a friend that the message I have on my screen is from Vista. It is blocking any loading of xp or my recovery disc. I should have stayed with XP. Vista sucks. I just bought a new pc and want to put XP on it but am afraid of the same thing happening. Out of the box it is locking up and did not have any audio. Microsoft you have a flop with this one.
