I purchased my Averatec 2370 back in Nov. I called in today and was told that I should have apply for one back in the beg. of the year. I am no longer eligible. Has anyone have this issue. I have heard that people who did apply didn't get their Vista any way.

The 'upgrade' program has been a complete mess. Did you apply when you got the notebook?

No, I was going to, but I saw post from people on the old Averatec unofficial site (RIP) that they didn't receive their Vista upgrade and at the same time invalided their Windows XP. I decided to wait.
