    Help,
I have an averatec 7155. I was downloading Itunes and after, my usb did not work. When I plug something in it says that windows does not recognize it to try again and if this does not work replace the device. Now after installing itunes when I would boot my laptop it would go to the command screen and say it was searching for the MAC address Hmmm. So I upgraded to vista with a clean install and still no usbs. device Mgr. Says they are working fine. Any help with this one?

I am having the same problem beginning the same date 6/24/2008. I have a 6210X60 and I think it has to do with the release of XP service pack 3 on that date. I was using windows media player and ripping some old CDs to put on my Zune. I have been searching for a fix and have tried several things but am still unable to use the USB ports except it sees my mouse and my Zune (microsoft product). Seems odd. Have you found a fix yet?
