    Hi,
I just got the 2300 series laptop. While the laptop lcd is open, if you put one finger on top of the led indicators and the bottom of case and squeeze ,,it makes a squeaking noise...

Is this normal? I have 5 days to return it. Please let me know what should i do!

I mean its just annoying somtimes when i lay my palm on it and it squeaks.

Like the old joke, guy goes to doctor and tells the doc that it hurts when I do this. Doc muses for a few seconds and then responds by saying, "Then don't do that."

In all seriousness, it's plastic rubbing and probably is harmless. All devices with plastic parts have this potential if the fit/finish is off even by a bit. If it really annoys you that much, take it back for an exchange/refund.

Let us know what you decide.
