Ok, I just bought my Compal Hel80 from discountlaptops.com and got a couple of days ago. It has vista. I installed BF2 and it installed fine but when I click the icon to play it it load and then gets to the bf2 screen the switches to the full black screen and crashes back to the desktop. I tried running in compatibility, administrator I do not know what else to do. Any ideas. Do i need to reinstall the graphics driver? IF so how do I do that?

    Well you have a 7600...
Check out this article. Go to laptopvideo2go.com for the lastest drivers. You will probably need to install the proper Vista drivers... the thing is nVidia just hasn't released a great set of Vista drivers yet, but I'd check that website out.

Edit: Here's how to install these special drivers, first you should uninstall your last drivers. Download this program, and read the readme for further instructions.

Wel BF2 works fine for me.
Here are some steps I did.
    1. Downloaded newest patch/update for BF2
    2. Downloaded and installed newest Nvidia Vista drivers that I got from Nvidia.com
    3. Updated my DirectX
    4. Ran BF2 and it worked as it should.
