    Battery is dead?

    I just got a new :) battery for HGL-30 . It is not specifically made for it but fits nicely. It doesn't charge :mad: . It shows red light blinking. And laptop just shuts off after 30 seconds after loading windows.
    Is the problem in the battery? Or maybe because its new?

    yea battery is brand new. I am asking because if the battery is dead I'll send it back. Bought on Ebay

    I'd send it back. And since it's not specifically made for it, you might be better off paying a little more for one that is.
