I was looking into the Antec Notebook Cooler....but Ive heard that they wouldn't help adequately...

Im looking for a fan that I can attatch to the bottom that'll cool my notebook well and something I can put onto my lap without too much discomfort

looking to really minimize the use of the fan in the laptop, I live in a old, dusty apartment building so dust easily builds up....so I was looking for a fan/pad that I can place on my lap and minimize the fan usage in my laptop....

I just put mine on my lap. It's not bad. I do take a little care to not block the vent with my leg, for the laptop's comfort.

When using the laptop in home I connect it whit stationary display (the laptops is so bed compering to it :(), mouse and keyboard so I just put some kind of marker under the exhaust, so that the turbine wouldn’t pull the hot air back again and the vent was in the open. The temperature drops 6-8 degrease and makes it <=40 (acording to TAT) for CPU.
