Is it possible to have a corrupted bios? How would I flash the 114A bios or older? I download the file, burned the file but my cd/flash key report an error on the cd.

My notebook work as of right now but i get this feeling that the in-window flash was not complete as I hard-shut off the notebook when restarted as the screen was blank for a while (5 minute before shutting off). Thanks.

My current OS are: Ubuntu 7.04 and Vista Business. Ubuntu reported a bug in the bios :(.

I have had issues with the new "vista compatible" BIOS's and Linux. I'm currently running with 112A I believe (hacked up so I have a custom bootsplash). You can flash it just as you flashed it the first time, if you can boot into Windows. It's not recommended to use Windows to flash from, so you should search this forum for making a bootable USB drive to boot and flash from.
